Past Events
- March 14th – Las Fuentes Fundraising Fiesta (flier attached). 10% of all purchases to benefit BBBS. Donation unknown at this time.
- March 14th – Christian County and Todd County annual Bowl for Kids Sake Fundraiser. Proceeds totaled $5,181.86 for Todd County and $20,134.45 for Christian County.
- April 25th - Girl Scout Adopt a Spot Beautification Project – news of the flowers planted by the Girl Scouts at the local library initiated a donation of $150 to the Girl Scouts from BBBS Board Members and Case Managers to replace the perennials.
- April 25th – Super Saturday Spaghetti Supper with Woodman of the World from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. The fundraiser was a success with $956.00 donated to BBBS. UK and Bristol basket raffles will continue until June 30th. Woodman of the World would like to make this an annual event in conjunction with National children’s recognition campaign, which will be on May 1st or 2nd in 2010.
- April 25th – “I Don’t Care Bar & Grill” located in Hopkinsville, KY held an all day motorcycle wash with proceeds to benefit BBBS. Donation unknown at this time.
- May 12th - the Roller Dome skating party hosted by Fort Campbell High School Teens, Crime and Community group from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. for children on waiting list as well as Bigs and their Littles at the Roller Dome and Funplex in Hopkinsville, KY. Thirteen students attended from Fort Campbell High School and 30 children.
Upcoming Events
- June 13th – Kiwanis Soap Box Derby. BBBS will set up a booth to sell drinks and distribute information and recruit mentors.
- June 20th- Bachelor Auction hosted and coordinated by “I Don’t Care Restaurant” in Hopkinsville, KY
