Big Brothers Big Sisters of America BigBrothersBigSisters.org is the largest mentoring organization in the U.S. In 2009, Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Kentucky served 312 children age 5-13; nationally, the total was 242,000. Independent research shows that professionally supported one-to-one relationships between young people and their Big Brothers and Big Sisters have a direct, measurable and lasting impact. Children in the program are more likely to graduate from high school and less likely to be involved in violence.

"Everyone can be great because anyone can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t even have to make your subject and and your verb agree to serve… You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love".
— Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
